We also script the uncomfortable conversations. Approvers practice saying no with a prompt: what cheaper experiment would still answer the question? That keeps denials from sounding personal.

Rollback drills are short table reads. If a rollback owner is on PTO, the drill fails — that is useful information before a real incident. We capture those failures as tickets, not shame.

The goal is not more meetings. The goal is fewer surprises in executive readouts when someone asks why a segment doubled overnight.
